Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Welcome to Next Camper Albania. Your privacy is critically important to us. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our website, book our campervans, or use our interactive maps and services.

2. Information We Collect for Bookings

When you reserve a campervan, we collect essential personal information required to process your booking and ensure a smooth rental experience. This includes:

• First Name and Last Name
• Email Address
• Phone Number
• Booking dates and preferences

3. Payments and Credit Card Data

To securely process your transactions, we use POK — Albania's licensed Electronic Money Institution (EMI), regulated by the Bank of Albania. We do not store your credit card or payment data on our servers. All payment data is encrypted and handled directly by POK in compliance with strict financial security standards.

As part of the rental agreement, a €1,000 security deposit is temporarily held (pre-authorized) on your payment method at the time of booking. This amount is not charged — it is only reserved as a guarantee against potential damage. The hold is released in full upon safe return of the vehicle.

4. Live Location and Map Features

Our website features an interactive map designed to enhance your road trip. This map highlights Points of Interest (POIs) such as safe camper parking spots, camping grounds, and scenic stops.

To provide real-time navigation and distance calculations, we may ask for your permission to access your device's live location. This data is only collected if you explicitly allow it via your browser prompt. Your live location is used solely to enhance your user experience on the map and is not tracked continuously in the background or shared with third parties.

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies to improve your browsing experience, remember your preferences, and understand how our website is used. Soon, you will see a banner allowing you to accept or decline non-essential cookies. These cookies help us provide features like the live map and personalized booking flows.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, update, or request the deletion of the personal information we hold about you. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your privacy, please reach out to us via our Contact Page.
